We offer great service, delicious shrimp tacos and good margaritas. The Carnitas plate is outrageously good. This has to be Lake County’s best Mexican Restaurant. This is a wonderful addition to Southern Lake County. Amazing service and amazing food is what this restaurant is all about. The restaurant is well kept and very clean. The server/owner are very polite. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

That is the reason that they utilize tried and true recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next. Their fare is prepared using only the freshest ingredients, such as made-from-scratch dough. Stone Fire Pizza Company is located next to the Hidden Valley lake Golf Course close to the corner of Hartmann Road and Coyote Valley Road.
HVL (Hidden Valley Lake) was developed and established by the USA Land Corporation between late 1960’s and the early 1970’s. Coyote Creek was dammed by a dam that was constructed in that time period, which created Hidden valley lake, which was some 102-acre large. addition, many different buildings and other amenities were constructed during that time, such as a campground, tennis courts, a cart barn, and a clubhouse. Also, the 18-Hole Hidden Valley golf course was completed. It was originally designed as a recreation/vacation retreat. Between 1970and 1972, the Equestrian Center and Country Club, which is currently known as the Community Center were constructed. Some 3310 lots were laid out for homes. Another 695 larger lots were also laid out in a close by area known as The Ranchos. In 1972, a company named Boise Cascade purchased the USA Land Corporation. Boise Cascade offered vacation rentals, regular homes, and model vacation homes. They also promoted recreational and leisure-time activities available throughout the Western United States and at Hidden Valley Lake.
Some 85 homes had been constructed by 1973. The majority of home buyers were families who eventually planned to construct vacation homes, throughout the 1970’s. They frequently used campgrounds. Several miles to the south, the Calpine Corporation started building a geothermal power plant. Retirees, speculators, and their workers started buying lots and building homes in Hidden Valley Lake. Boise Cascade also constructed a large Marina approximately ten miles north at Hidden valley lake at the southeastern end of Clearlake. Boise cascade also provided financing for all of the recreational/leisure activities in Hidden Valley Lake and also provided meals, parties, and low-cost activities for owners. This included paddle-boat, canoe, bicycle, and horse rentals. Although collection was inconsistent, yearly assessments were $70 per year.
Boise cascade was losing money on developments such as Hidden Valley Lake and had suffered many class-action-suits. Boise Cascade turned Hidden Valley Lake over to the HVLA (Hidden Valley Lake Association), and in 1974, provided its board of directors with a $200,000 starter fund.
