About Woodland

Woodland, California is located about 15 miles northwest of Sacramento and is also located in and the county seat of Yolo County. According to the census that was taken in 2012, the population of Woodland was 56,271 people. The closest college and universities include Cambridge Junior College at Woodward and Woodward Community College. As of 2014 the unemployment rate in Woodland was 9.8%. The land area of Woodland is 15.3 square miles.
