James Hardie Siding Install in Tiburon, CA 94920

Working on a two-story home in Tiburon meant much of this siding job happened at height, and our crew took its time getting every course straight, every joint tight, and every corner clean. We brought our own approach to the high walls and hard-to-reach sections, replacing the old exterior with two distinct James Hardie profiles that give each floor its own character. The result is a crisp, layered facade that reads as intentional from the street rather than a single flat wall.

On the first story we installed James Hardie Artisan V-Groove lap siding, run with corner trim and finished primed and painted. The second story switched to James Hardie board and batten for vertical contrast above the belly band that separates the two levels. Before any siding went up, we wrapped the walls in HardieWrap weather barrier, sealed every window and door opening with Forti-Flash rubberized flashing, and set metal z-flashing where needed to keep moisture out. All openings and corners were trimmed in 5/4-by-4 ColorPlus trim, and once the new siding was on we reinstalled the downspouts and house numbers that came off during demo.
