James Hardie Siding in Rohnert Park, CA 94928
On a quiet street in Rohnert Park, this home traded its aging T1-11 siding for a crisp James Hardie exterior in warm Timber Bark. Our crew installed the new fiber cement as a layover the existing siding, then wrapped the openings and corners in Cobble Stone trim for clean, defined edges. The result is a low-maintenance shell with real depth and a fresh, current look from the curb.
We started by setting up safety equipment to reach the home's high walls and harder-to-access areas, then opened up sections to inspect the framing for hidden moisture damage and repaired the dry rot we found before any new material went on. From there we installed HardieWrap weather barrier over the walls, sealed the window and door openings with Forti-Flash rubberized flashing, and added metal z-flashing to keep water out where it counts. The Statement Collection lap siding went on next in Timber Bark, accented with 5/4-by-4 ColorPlus trim around the windows and doors and 5/4-by-6 trim framing the double garage doors. To finish, we painted the eaves, fascia, garage door, and foundation, and reinstalled the downspouts and house numbers once the new siding was up.
