James Hardie Siding Remodel in Orangevale, CA 95662
Careful prep work made the difference on this Orangevale re-side. Before any new board went up, our crew pulled the old siding and inspected the substrate, replacing any failing sections with fresh OSB so the new cladding had a sound, square surface to fasten to. We also kept a close eye out for dry rot during teardown, addressing it as we went and rebuilding with Douglas fir framing where repairs were needed. The result is a clean, well-fastened exterior that should hold up for decades.
The whole house was wrapped in James Hardie ColorPlus HardiePlank lap siding in Cobble Stone, a warm neutral that suits the home's lines. We carried the look through with coordinated trim around the windows, doors, and corners, working around the existing windows and the garage and entry doors, which stayed in place. The existing gutters were left as-is, and the new fiber-cement profile gives the elevations a crisp, uniform finish from grade to soffit.
