James Hardie Siding & Anlin Windows in Fremont, CA 94555

Much of the work on this Fremont home happened on its tall, hard-to-reach walls, and our crew set up the right staging and fall protection to do it safely and cleanly. We stripped the old siding and trim down to the framing, then took the time to inspect the structural members behind it before any new material went on. That careful approach paid off at the dormer, where prior interior leaks traced back to failed flashing - we replaced it and addressed the dry rot we found inside the walls before closing everything up.

With the walls sound, we wrapped the home in HardieWrap weather barrier and installed Forti-Flash rubberized flashing at every window and door, plus metal z-flashing across the openings for long-term moisture protection. The new exterior is James Hardie ColorPlus lap siding from the Statement Collection in Pearl Gray, set off by Arctic White 5/4-by-4 HardieTrim around the windows, doors, and corners and 5/4-by-6 trim framing the double garage doors. We painted the eaves, fascia, garage door, and foundation to match the fresh shell. To finish, all thirteen windows and three sliding glass doors were replaced with Milgard Tuscany Series new-construction vinyl units carrying Low-E 366 glass for better year-round efficiency.
