HardiePlank Lap Siding Install in Fair Oaks, CA 95628

The owners of this Fair Oaks home wanted to retire the stucco on the front of the house and the garage and replace it with a warmer, low-maintenance wood-grain look. We re-clad the front and right walls in James Hardie ColorPlus lap siding, and the result is a cleaner, more textured exterior that holds its color far better than the painted stucco it replaced.

After stripping the stucco off the front of the home and garage, our crew installed new OSB sheathing for a solid, even substrate, then wrapped the walls in Tyvek ThermaWrap R-5.0 weather barrier for added moisture protection before any siding went up. The fiber-cement is James Hardie 8 1/4-inch Cedarmill lap siding in Monterey Taupe, finished with Arctic White ColorPlus trim. We also replaced the fascia boards on the gables, and the eaves, gutters, and front fascia were painted to match the new James Hardie color package.
