Kitchen Remodel in Davis, CA 95618
Careful prep set the tone on this Davis kitchen, where our crew took the time to get every cabinet run plumb, level, and tight to the wall before a single countertop went down. Part of that groundwork meant cutting out water-damaged sheetrock near the sink and behind the microwave and patching in roughly 25 square feet of new drywall, so the finished surfaces had a sound, even base to work from. The result is a kitchen that reads clean and deliberate, with two-tone cabinetry and a quiet marble-look palette doing the heavy lifting.
We installed Waypoint cabinetry in a mix of 650F Cherry Slate and 650 Painted Linen, giving the room a layered two-tone look without feeling busy. The countertops are MSI Calacatta Leon, and the backsplash is Floor & Décor Zellige Opal Pearl set with Mapei Frost grout and finished with Schluter trim in white for crisp, protected tile edges. For appliances, a GE Profile dishwasher with hidden controls tucks neatly into the run, and a GE 1.6 cubic foot over-the-range microwave handles venting and convenience cooking above the cooktop.
