Guest Bathroom Remodel in El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
Set in one of El Dorado Hills' established neighborhoods, this guest bath was one of three bathrooms we reworked in the same home. Our crew gutted the existing space down to the studs and rebuilt it around a tile-to-the-ceiling wall treatment that gives the room real height and presence. The finished result is a clean, light-filled hall bath with a glass-enclosed shower and a fresh, current layout.
We carried Cloe subway tile up the walls to the ceiling and waterproofed the shower with the HYDRO-BLOK system for the walls and low-profile pan. A semi-custom Waypoint vanity with 400 Series doors anchors the room, topped with a custom quartz countertop and an undermount sink. We set the tile with epoxy grout for durability, built in a recessed niche for shampoo and soap, and installed a frameless pivot shower door along with a separate glass panel. New drywall repair, texture, a relocated outlet, an added switch, a replacement exhaust fan, and a floor-mount toilet rounded out the scope.

We had a very large home remodel recently completed by GVD - Kitchen, Master Bath, and 2 guest baths. The sales and design process was excellent - great communication and they worked with us to choose the right layouts and materials. The construction process was long, but worth it and given the scope of the job completed in a very reasonable amount of time. The tile/marble work in particular is spectacular - the attention to detail and quality of workmanship has made for 4 beautiful rooms. The master bath in particular was a huge change and the kitchen is a dream, clean lines and very functional. They clearly communicated any changes to costs based on our asks so there were no surprises. all of the subcontractors made sure to confirm design details before proceeding and at times made recommendations that were better than our original plans. The GVD team handled course corrections and changes real time. We are very satisfied with the work and love our new home.
