James Hardie Siding Install in Shingle Springs, CA 95682
The homeowners here wanted to be done with the old wood siding that had wrapped this Shingle Springs house for roughly three decades. Years of weather had left the original boards rotted and tired, so our crew stripped them off and rebuilt the exterior in James Hardie fiber cement. The result is a solid, low-maintenance shell with crisp lines and a finish that holds up to the foothill climate far better than the wood it replaced.
We installed James Hardie lap siding across the walls, with the second story and front gables detailed to match for a consistent look from the ground up. Color came from the James Hardie ColorPlus Statement Collection, with standard-profile Hardie trim defining the corners, windows, and edges. Existing gutters and gable vents were kept in place and worked around, and we ran HardiePlank on the eaves, porch ceilings, and the vertical accent panels. The exterior doors and the chimney were left out of the siding scope, keeping the work focused squarely on the wall cladding and trim.
