James Hardie Siding in Fairfield, CA 94533
The exterior of this Fairfield home went from worn, weather-tired siding to a crisp two-tone fiber cement wrap in Kaki Brown with bright Arctic White trim. Our crew clad the whole house in James Hardie fiber cement and added new windows throughout, giving the front a much cleaner, more finished look. While pulling off the old material, we found dry rot on the rafters and roof sheathing at the front-right corner and addressed it before any new siding went up.
The walls are James Hardie ColorPlus lap siding in Kaki Brown, set off by Arctic White trim. We installed James Hardie soffit board in Arctic White and added fascia board where the home previously had none, then finished the entry with a new James Hardie porch ceiling. Standard prep included re-sheathing as needed, a weather barrier, and Forti-Flash flashing at every window and door opening to keep moisture out at the most vulnerable points.
We replaced damaged siding ahead of the new install, added gutters and downspouts where they were needed, and painted the foundation, soffit, and fascia to tie the color scheme together.
